ACCIDENTAL SKIRT

I wish I would have taken a picture of the cute skirts I made for Sarah and the girls. I had started to make myself a dress. I cut it out and was assembling the bodice when I realised it was too small on the top. Trust me it's not because I'm so buxom, I didn't measure properly. Anyway, I didn't want to waste the rest of the dress so I sewed the skirt part together and it was cutie, cute , cute. Sarah loved it, so last night she came over and cut out 3 for herself and 5 for the girls. They are all finished and ready to wear. Everyone bug Sarah and make her post pictures of them.Have a good day!!

TIME FLIES

Tuesday July 22 I wil have been married 33 years. That sounds so crazy to me. I don't feel like I've been married that long, yet I feel like I have always been married. It's been a wild crazy, up and down ride. Would I do it again? Yup, in a heart beat. Would I like it to be somewhat different? Sure... but the way it was is what made us who we are today.
I have never shared this much of my life with any person including my parents. We have experienced life together, lost loved ones together, grew up together and now we're growing old together. Life don't get no better than this baby.

AHHHH! SUMMER.....

Theres nothing like Popsicles to cool a kid down. These three monkeys put away about a dozen of them in a short period of time. JuJu would get them out of the freezer in the garage and dole them out. Little Popsicle pusher.
With the pool filled on July 3rd we were able to swim on the 4th even though it was not totally done OMG I love to cool off in water.

The kids were fighting over all of them riding in the Barbie jeep. Well grampy remedied that. A small desk chair and a roll of duct tape. The man is truly a genius!! Note the large paver in the hood to keep it from popping a wheelie.
